SneakerBall 2018 - An Experience Unlike any other!
The inaugural We Code, Too "Sneakerball" is a black-tie event created to celebrate and fundraise for the ongoing operations of the non-profit organization, We Code, Too. Join us on Saturday November 3rd at the DoubleTree Hotel from 7:00-10:00 PM.
We wish to provide our community with a unique experience to party with a purpose. Our Sneaker Ball, hosted by CNN commentator Symone Sanders, will be an event in which patrons dress in Black Tie formal wear while trading in the heels and dress shoes for sneakers. We will have a “Champion Welcome” sponsored by Champion Brewery from 7:00 - 8:00 PM which will feature an Open Bar, a Red Carpet entrance, photographers, and a live band. Throughout the event we will have an exquisite selection of food, live DJ, live band, silent auction, live art show, and interactive games for all. Come and experience a fun-filled night in your gowns and your tuxes with your favorite pair of sneakers!
Our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase 32 new laptops for our programs, and 320 pairs of sneakers for the youth, homeless, and anyone in our community who may be in need. This December, all of the scholars in our program will participate in a “Holiday Giveback” in which we wash the feet of those in need, and provide new socks and sneakers to the community as our commitment to service and teaching our scholars the importance of giving opposed to only receiving. We hope to see you there! #PartyWithAPurpose #SneakerBall2018
